And Development
Ministries offers a variety of services to churches and other
organizations to better equip staff members, leaders, and volunteers in carrying
out any type of ministry task.

Publications and Seminars
LEAD creates materials to help train
Christian leaders in a variety of critical ministry techniques, such as group
dynamics, classroom management, managing volunteers, and running effective
meetings.
LEAD is available to train leaders
using existing materials, or develop custom training materials and seminars
to meet specific needs or requests.

Youth Leadership Program
The youth leadership program consists
of a training regimen with 10 levels of competency and progression. This multi-year program is designed for
students at Middle or High School age levels. The levels progress through three major categories:
ü
Ministry Aides – Trainees at these levels learn to assist other leaders in group
management and learn basic teaching techniques.
ü
Leaders in Training – Trainees at these levels learn ministry skills such as preparing
lessons, and using drama or music as teaching tools.
ü
Youth Leaders – Trainees at these levels learn techniques for training and
nurturing other leaders in developing their leadership skills through
evaluation, constructive criticism, and motivational feedback.

Outreach Program Development, Curriculum,
and Teacher Training
LEAD develops ministry tools for use
with LEAD trainees or as aids for outreach by other Christian Leaders. Such materials may include drama scripts,
puppet sketches, Children’s Church curriculum, VBS theme guides, and many
other types of materials.
LEAD also provides seminars and
training materials for teacher training in techniques such as preparing an
exciting lesson plan, storytelling, interactive teaching techniques and
utilizing music in ministry.

Organizational Structure and Process
Development/Improvement
LEAD Ministries offers assistance in
optimizing organizational structure within existing ministries and guidance
in process development or improvement for groups desiring to increase the
efficiency and effectiveness of their ministry functions. This type of service includes evaluation
of existing structures and procedures, and analysis of goals and objectives
for the organization. Suggestions for
changes and discussion of the possible outcomes is provided. “Problem areas” can be addressed by
request.
Training is currently available on
many topics such as:

communication strategies – keep both leaders and congregation well-informed

Leadership empowerment – for both staff and
volunteer leaders

Holding effective
meetings – making the most out of your “together” times

Time management and
calendaring – handling multiple
projects/ministries

to create dynamic groups to successfully tackle ministry objectives
